Step-by-step guide for configuring TiviMate with your paid subscription. This is my preferred player for Android boxes.

TiviMate is widely considered the best IPTV player for Android TV devices.

You will need your M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials from your provider.

M3U is a static playlist file. Xtream Codes is an API that allows TiviMate to fetch live channel lists.

Xtream Codes connection is better because TiviMate can retrieve EPG and VOD directly from the API.

In TiviMate: Settings → Playlists → Add Playlist → choose Xtream Codes type.

Enter your server address, port, username, and password exactly as provided by your service.

Port 8080 is the most common, but it varies. Check your credentials email from the provider.

After adding the playlist, set up auto-update to refresh the channel list daily.

Enable catch-up in settings if your provider supports it — great for watching missed content.

I set up multiple playlists in TiviMate for different providers I test simultaneously.

TiviMate Premium is worth the one-time purchase for the advanced EPG and multi-screen features.

The multi-screen feature lets you watch one channel while browsing the guide for another.

Overall TiviMate + Android TV box is the setup I recommend to everyone asking about IPTV players.
