NovaView app compatibility feedback — TiviMate, XCIPTV, Smart IPTV, and more

TiviMate on a Firestick 4K Max is my main setup. NovaView works perfectly using the Xtream Codes connection type in TiviMate. EPG loads quickly and channel switching is near-instant.

Same setup here. The catch-up feature works if you enable it in TiviMate settings — took me a while to find that toggle.

Where exactly is the catch-up setting in TiviMate?

Settings → Playlists → your playlist → enable Catch-up. Then when you long-press a channel in the guide, you will see the catch-up option appear.

XCIPTV 4 on an Nvidia Shield Pro — excellent compatibility. The 4K HDR streams play without a single dropped frame. Very impressed with this combination.

Nvidia Shield + XCIPTV is one of the most capable setups for this type of service. The hardware decode is excellent.

Ireland user — Smart IPTV on a 2020 LG OLED. Setting it up required the MAC address activation on the SIPTV website but once done it has been completely reliable. The picture quality on the OLED panel with this app is exceptional.

LG OLED + Smart IPTV is a great combination for picture quality. Smart IPTV on webOS is stable and handles the streams well.

IPTV Smarters Pro on a Samsung Galaxy S23 — smooth performance for mobile viewing. The interface could be improved but functionality is solid.

IBO Player on an Apple TV 4K — works well for iOS ecosystem users. Setup was straightforward. The tvOS interface feels native.

Canada user — Flix IPTV on Apple TV 4K. Excellent app specifically for the Apple TV platform. Very polished interface.

MAG device user here — the MAG portal mode works reliably. Portal connects in under 10 seconds and channel loading is fast. No issues to report.
