Frozen video but audio keeps playing — how to fix

Upgrade the box or reduce video quality. Modern apps need modern hardware.

Reduced to 1080p and freezing stopped completely. The device handles it fine at 1080.

Makes sense. 1080p has 4x less processing demand than 4K.

Bought a Mi Box S. No more freezing at any quality. Old box is retired.
