Best streaming devices available in 2011

Laptop connected to TV via HDMI was most people's option in 2011.

HDMI on laptops was new in 2011. Thunderbolt to HDMI adapters were expensive.

The idea of a dedicated streaming stick didn't exist yet in 2011.

Roku still exists and is still relevant. Impressive longevity.

Chromecast launched in 2013 and changed everything for streaming sticks.
