Ireland — testing support during a trial is one of the most valuable things you can do. Submit a genuine but non-urgent question on a Tuesday afternoon. Note the time. Note the response time and quality. This is exactly the support experience you will get for the duration of your subscription.

Australia — after firmware update, also check the time zone settings. Firmware updates sometimes reset the time zone to default (often UTC) which causes EPG timing issues immediately. Verify Settings → General → Time Zone shows your correct region.

If there is no manual offset set: this is almost certainly a hardware decoder synchronisation issue. When using hardware decode, the video and audio decoders are separate chips and occasionally start slightly out of phase on channel load. Enabling or re-enabling hardware decode explicitly...

New Zealand user — Xiaomi Mi Box S is worth mentioning as a budget Android TV box option. Performance is not as strong as the Mecool KM7 but it is significantly cheaper and runs Android TV natively. Good entry point if you want to try an Android box without committing to a higher budget.
