Speed test shows 200Mbps but streaming still buffers — why?

My app uses a CDN cluster in a different state. That explains latency.

40Mbps from streaming server is still plenty for 4K. Something else is wrong.

Found it: VPN was active and routing through a far server. Disabled VPN, fixed.

VPN is a common hidden cause. People forget it's running.

Speed tests on VPN look fine. Streaming on VPN is different. Good example.
