Android TV box overheating — causes and solutions

Step 1: Ensure the box has clear space around it for airflow. Don't put it in a cabinet.

My box was in an enclosed TV cabinet. Moved it to an open shelf — problem reduced significantly.

Step 2: Don't stack items on top of the box. Electronics need the top surface for heat dissipation.

Also worth checking: close any apps you're not using. Background apps generate heat too.
