Starting this thread so UK and Ireland users can share their experience with StreamNorth's support team. Whether you had questions about activation, app setup, or stability — post your experience here. Keeping it factual and helpful for everyone evaluating options.

UK user here — opened a ticket last Tuesday afternoon about activation. Reply came in under 90 minutes with clear instructions. Impressed.

Same experience in Ireland. Asked about which app works best with their service on a Samsung TV and got a detailed reply covering Smart IPTV and XCIPTV. Very thorough.

What information did you need to send to get a fast reply? I want to prepare before contacting them.

They asked for: device model, app name and version, operating system version, and whether you were on Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Had that ready and the reply was fast.

That matches what I sent. Also included a brief description of the issue and they already had a specific fix ready. No back-and-forth needed.

Canadian user here. Response time was about 2 hours on a weekday. Weekend was slightly longer but still same day.

The support agent walked me through the TiviMate settings step by step. Sorted within one exchange.

TiviMate is what I use too. Did they advise any specific buffer settings for UK connections?

Yes — they suggested increasing the buffer size in TiviMate's Advanced settings from default to around 10 MB for my broadband type. Made a noticeable difference on HD channels during peak hours.

I tried that same setting on my Android TV box and it helped with the occasional stutters I was getting around 8pm. Good tip.

Australia user checking in. Evening buffering was my main issue — between 7 and 10pm channels would occasionally freeze for a second or two. Support diagnosed it quickly as a buffer size issue combined with a Wi-Fi signal that dipped during peak hours.

Switched to Ethernet as they suggested. Rock solid since.

Ethernet makes such a difference. I keep telling people to wire up their streaming device and most of them come back saying it fixed their problem.

Completely agree. Wi-Fi looks fine on a speed test but the consistency just is not there for continuous HD streaming. Wired is always the better option for a fixed TV.

New Zealand user here — asked about compatibility with an older LG Smart TV. Support confirmed which app version to use and sent a link to the setup guide. Very helpful for a first-time user.

LG TVs can be tricky with IPTV apps. Which app did they recommend for your LG model?

They suggested Smart IPTV for my 2019 model. Had it running in about 20 minutes following their guide. The MAC address activation step is the part that catches people out but the guide explains it well.

USA user here. I use IPTV Smarters Pro on a Firestick 4K Max. Had an issue where the app was not saving my login credentials between sessions. Support asked for the app version and Firestick firmware version, then gave me a fix — clearing app data and reinstalling a specific APK version.

Fixed completely.

The IPTV Smarters credential issue on Fire TV is known. The specific APK version matters a lot. Good that support knew exactly which one to recommend.

I had the same issue on a different Firestick model. The fix was the same — specific APK version. Works perfectly now.
