Subscription renewed but service not working — account in limbo state

My subscription just renewed (I can see the payment on my bank statement) but the service shows "account inactive" when I try to connect. Has been like this for 6 hours. Sharing the resolution process.
 
Renewal processing delays are a known issue with some providers. The payment processes before the system updates the account status.
 
6 hours is longer than expected but still within the range of automatic processing delay. Give it 12 hours before escalating.
 
Document: screenshot your bank transaction with timestamp, note your current service status message, and log the time the payment processed. This information helps support resolve it faster.
 
Contact support now even if it might auto-resolve. Some providers have manual processing for renewals that require a support trigger.
 
Sent support a ticket with payment confirmation. They responded within 2 hours and manually activated the account.
 
Manual activation by support is the most reliable resolution for renewal-processing issues. Always worth contacting them rather than waiting.
 
For future renewals: set a calendar reminder for the day before renewal. Some providers allow you to renew manually before the automatic renewal, giving you control over timing.
 
I also asked my provider to add a note to my account about the manual activation requirement. Next renewal processed automatically without issues.
 
Good account management practice. Providers should handle this seamlessly but the reality is that automated systems occasionally need human intervention.
 
RESOLVED: Support manually activated the account. Confirmed working. Total downtime about 8 hours from renewal to restoration. Not ideal but the support response was professional.
