App crashes on TV box after 20 minutes — systematic fix

Opening this discussion to share what I've learned and hear from others with similar experiences.
 
Consistent timing suggests a memory accumulation issue rather than a random crash.
 
Clearing app data will log you out and reset settings. Just the cache first.
 
Next: check available RAM during playback. If RAM fills up completely, Android kills apps.
 
Settings > About > Memory (path varies). Some boxes have developer options with memory stats.
 
Found it. Available RAM drops from 500MB to under 50MB right before the crash.
 
That confirms it. Your box doesn't have enough RAM for extended streaming with this app.
 
Options: close all other apps before streaming, or upgrade to a box with more RAM.
 
Also check if there's a developer-mode setting to increase app memory allocation.
 
Closing all background apps before streaming extended my crash-free time to over 2 hours.
