Hi everyone! Starting this thread to discuss the topic and hear from others with similar experiences. Happy to answer questions and share more details if needed.
 
What Samsung model are you using? Settings differ a lot between OS versions.
 
Samsung Tizen 2023. The internal storage settings for apps is different from older models.
 
The HDMI port setting on Samsung TVs affecting input lag — never would have figured that out alone.
 
Game Mode on my Samsung TV reduces input lag but affects color profile. Worth it for responsive apps.
 
Turning off Motion Plus on Samsung completely fixed my soap opera effect issue.
 
Thanks for the tip about disabling Samsung's content recommendations. It was slowing my home screen.
 
The network buffer setting in the app (not the TV) is different from the TV's own buffer. Both matter.
