USA — tested on TiviMate on a Firestick. Buffer settings in TiviMate helped — increased buffer size to 10,000 KB as suggested elsewhere in this forum. Evening performance improved noticeably.

I specifically asked support about 4K buffer size settings before I started. They gave me exact values to try. Works well now.

Canada — workaround for testing without upgrading: be aware that catch-up and VOD playback also count as active connections on most services. If you are watching live TV and your partner wants to use catch-up, that is two simultaneous connections. Budget accordingly.

Ireland — tried Fix 1, did not work for me. Used Fix 2 instead. Downloaded the stable APK version from the Smarters official site using Downloader, sideloaded it over the existing installation. Credential saving now works correctly.

Australia — for anyone with a Smart TV thinking about whether to add an external box: if your TV runs Android TV or supports Google Play, you probably do not need one. If it is Samsung Tizen or LG webOS, an external Android box gives much more flexibility.
